N19.2bn Fraud: Former Governor Sylva’s Trial Resumes Tomorrow - Could Timipre Sylva Be Buhari's First litmus test on corruption?

Timipre-Sylva
Timipre Sylva, the former governor of Bayelsa state was recently appointed as the co-chair of the Presidential Inauguration Planning Committee by President-Elect General Buhari and his team.
He is accused of stealing N19.2billion from the state treasury while he was the governor between 2007 and 2011.
According to several news website including Sahara Reporters, his case will come up tomorrow at the Federal High Court Abuja. The perception of zero tolerance to corruption might be tainted should this case go against the former governor. Also was it wise to appoint him as co-chair of the Inauguration Planning Committee considering this was hanging-over him.
