Britain has a new little princess.
The new royal baby arrived at 8:34 a.m. in London, royal
officials said. The baby weights eight pounds, 3 ounces and entered the world
surrounded by the royal family. "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing
well," the Kensington Palace Twitter account wrote.
Kate Middleton was admitted to St. Mary’s Hospital in London
at 6 a.m. Saturday. She traveled by car with her husband, Prince William, who
is now at his wife's side at the hospital.
The baby, whose name hasn't been revealed, will be fourth in
line to the British throne, following grandfather Prince Charles, father and
big brother, Prince George.
Middleton delivered Britain's "spare heir" in the
Lindo Wing of the same hospital where the couple's first child George, was born
in July 2013. Both William and his brother, Prince Harry, were born in the same

Devoted well-wishers camped outside the hospital days in
advance, with some waiting on the sidewalk wearing Union Jack flags and
