The Federal Government of Nigeria has appointed renowned
accounting and auditing firms, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Klynveld Peat
Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) to audit Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation
(NNPC) and other agencies, Daily Post reports.
Also to be audited are Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),
Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Nigeria Customs Service (NCS),
Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and Nigerian Maritime Administration
and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
